Shipping During COVID-19
We ship via U.S Postal Service Media Mail or UPS ground.
Per the U.S. Postal Service website, “U.S. Postal Service packages may require more time to be delivered due to limited transportation availability as a result of the ongoing Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) impacts to the United States.”
Per UPS, "The majority of our services continue with the same expected delivery timeframes our customers have come to expect. While we have suspended our Service Guarantee in light of overall Coronavirus uncertainties, we remain committed to providing timely and reliable service."

Shipment Discrepancy Policy
Upon receipt of your books, please ensure you inspect the condition carefully. Should you find the books damaged, identify a short or over-shipment and/or suspect part of the shipment has been lost, please contact Books By The Bushel’s Customer Care Department immediately (within 72 hours) at 1-877-251-6598 or locally at 937-526-0062.
We ask that you report to Customer Service the receipt of a damaged product within 72 hours of delivery and do not discard the damaged item and its packaging. If you fail to report damages in this time frame, we won't be able to file a claim with the carrier which means we can't accept responsibility for the damages
Upon receipt, verify product count and reconcile with Packing Slip. Make note of the number of boxes you received and the tracking numbers listed on the shipping label on each box. Notice of the discrepancy is required for credit and should be submitted within seventy-two (72) hours after delivery of the shipment.
If you are not completely happy with your purchase, you may return the item(s) for a full or partial refund within 90 days of receipt.
Returned items must be in new, unused and re-salable condition and pre-authorization is required. We do not accept returns on clearance/bargain products. To request a return, please contact Books By The Bushel’s Customer Care Department at 1-877-251-6598 or locally at 937-526-0062.
Returns made up to 30 days after purchase will be issued a full refund, minus the original shipping charges and return shipping charges.*
Refunds: You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
Refunds will be issued in the same method as the original payment or you can request a refund in the form of a Books By The Bushel store credit.
Returns made from 31-90 days after purchase will be issued a credit on your account, minus a 10% restock fee, original shipping charges and return shipping charges.
No returns will be accepted after 90 days from purchase date
Requesting a return:
Returns must be approved by Books By The Bushel, LLC. Requests may be made online at the My Account section (My Account>Completed>Return Item(s)) or by calling customer care at 1-877-251-6598.
*Special Order Books:
Special order (non-stock) books are non-returnable. If an item is non-returnable it will be noted on your invoice.
Exchanges are accepted up to 90 days after the original order was placed.
If you are exchanging books due to BBTB's mistake we will issue a call tag and you will not be charged the return shipping costs.
If you are requesting an exchange due to incorrect books ordered, we will issue a call tag and you will be charged for the return shipping costs.
Returns due to non-delivery:
If books are returned to BBTB due to incorrect shipping information provided by the customer or refusal to receive the package(s), you may be charged the cost of redirecting and/or return shipping.
If books are returned to BBTB due to BBTB mistake, BBTB will pay for any redirecting and/or return shipping charges.
A penalty charge of $30 will be assessed for each returned check. In the event of a second returned check, further payment for a period of 12 months will be credit card only.
